Christens career started within finance, and he became CFO in 2 major companies during the first 15 years of his career.

Then he changed career track to consulting and executive search. Started as management consultant with PwC and after e few years he changed to specialize and focus on executive search and joined J. Friisberg & Partners, a Danish and Swiss based firm, as partner and co-owner. This lasted for 10 years, and then Christen managed to have Heidrick & Struggles to buy the Danish office, with a clear purpose of building a stronger Nordic platform. Since then, in his own entity C-DALUM Associates, continuing working with executive search projects, board assignments and advisory assignments, mainly for former clients and key persons, where full trust is a key factor, for a satisfactory cooperation, for both parties.

Christen has a B.Com./HD degree from Copenhagen Business School/CBS in Management and Organization and has been an external examiner at the same institution for more than 30 years.
